EX) Late again heh, I'm just so snowed under with work at the moment, so this will probably be my last drawing for the event. But I'm glad I got to participate!
EX) A: The sunshine is fabulous.
B : It really does! I’m snowed under with work at the moment but it’s hard to feel stressed with all this sun out there.

make (something) appear less important than it really is.
The World Health Organization is urging officials in Tanzania to follow science in the fight against the coronavirus, after the country's president said the approved vaccines are dangerous. President John Magufuli, who was re-elected in a disputed election last October, has been downplaying the virus and has told the health ministry not to rush to purchase vaccines.
