If something rekindles an interest, feeling, or thought that you used to have, it makes you think about it or feel it again.
If something rekindles an unpleasant situation, it makes the unpleasant situation happen again.
Ex) Singleton Library may not be the most obvious venue to spend a romantic afternoon, but that's all about to change with the Singleton community invited to rekindle their library love affair this Valentine's Day.
