A : Funny thing is its not a dating problem. Dating is life to people. Everyone I have met in their 20's cares about having a boyfriend of girlfriend almost as much as a job. The problems are the cost of raising a child, cost of family housing, and the cost of food.

B : ..and education is a huge part of that!

A : Agreed. I should have been more accurate. I included the education in cost of raising a child

C : All of these students have older sibling or cousins and they see how difficult it is to juggle life raising kids. They simply don't want it. This isn't a dating issue at all.

D : Doubly because Koreans feel like they have to have everything straight away- a house, car, etc.

E : How about giving women a decent maternity leave and punish companies that pressure women to quit their jobs? All my korean (female) friends are postponing getting kids because they'd rather work and make use of their education.

F : The low birthrate is definitely a problem, although in my opinion it's better than having to deal with people popping out kid after kid and relying on welfare and government handouts to support all of them.
